We are a community of independent dance instructors in Cali. Based in the world capital of salsa, we have dancers to suit all levels, and styles of dance. Salsa: Colombian, on-1, on-2, Cuban. Bachata. Kizomba. And more! Our goal is to help you find and learn with the best dance instructors in Cali through private, one-on-one instruction. Classes can be done at home or in one of several of our local studios, while saving the costs of not going through a dance school.
Our Instructors are a handpicked group of the highest quality dance professionals in Cali. Many are competing in national and international levels, and all are vetted by their peers for professionalism, personality, and of course high expertise in dance instruction!
The Community was started in fall 2017 in Cali after having begun initially in Medellin, Colombia in summer 2017. The community was started by a small group of students and instructors who thought both sides would heavily benefit from connecting with each other! We are based in the San Antonio, Cali.
Our Students are both complete newbies to dance, as well as experienced competitive dancers looking to leve-lup their dancing. The main theme is people to come to us to fast track their dance education with the highest quality, private classes you can get in Colombia.

Affordable. Schools have to cover the remuneration of the teacher and the cost of operations. Since we work independently, everything costs less and you save the difference.

A one-on-one class with a patient teacher helps create a friendly, non-judgemental environment for practicing. Our instructors are accustomed to teaching foreigners with little or no dance experience, and have collectively learned the best practices and teaching methods. At the same time, being pro dancers, they bring with them an impressive knowledge and understanding of the dance, music, and culture of salsa to share with you.
Learning from an independent instructor instead of at a traditional dance school allows you to develop a personal relationship without Big Brother controlling your relationship. It is very common for our instructors to take out their students social dancing to try out their new moves in dance clubs! As Cali locals, our instructors are able to recommend the best events, the right club at the right night etc. And if they don’t, do not hesitate to ask us directly via Facebook!

I have been beyond impressed. The concept is fantastic; as a student you save money and the teachers themselves make a fairer wage. The classes are absolutely private – in your own studio, with your own teacher, and with no need to change the music every five minutes!
Amazing! It’s easy to set up classes, the teachers come to your neighborhood, and everyone seems to be super responsive and organized. Plus, I had a blast learning to salsa, despite my awkward, can’t-dance self!

A: There are 3 payments: a first reservation payment made online through Paypal or credit card, a second cash payment made to the teacher (after the test class), and a third cash payment after half the classes are used.

A: Salsa (colombian, cuban, on1, on2), bachata (sensual or dominican), kizomba, reggaeton, and more. Pretty much every latin dance style. If you don't see what you want to learn in our Facebook Messenger menu, just let us know what you want and we will see if we have someone just right for you.
A: Prices are customized to your needs, based on the experience of the instructor, the number of classes (hours) and the location of the class (home or studio). See this YouTube video for more!
A: After the first class, you can either move forward with your instructor, try with a different instructor, or get a full-refund of your online reservation payment. The test class price is 30.000 pesos (+10.000 if done in a studio)
A: We currently only offer private group classes. Whether its three or thirty people, contact us through Facebook and we'll take care of the rest!
